It's been abt 2 weeks after i came back from HK. Been working at TTSH as a temporary Patient Service Associate. But since it's temp the only thing i could do over there was to assist the doctor. Nonetheless, like shin, i probably saw the worse politics so far in my working years. And i believe I have more to come on my way. The fact is, I was unknowingly involved in it even as a TEMP. But wat the heck and fortunately for me i dun really care. This is my temp job during my vacation, if they were to sack me for some little small things, i would also accept the fact but i would also rest assure my agency will know the full story about it.
The thing is, it was rara who told me the true story, just felt like an innocent party who somehow got dragged in because of someone's bad attitude towards work. Anyway, because of these, i kinda hate chee na people now. Probably i would say, i starting to hate them more and more. And i also realise, the rest of the people there at my workplace dun like her too.. Haha, that's like a good news to me.
That aside, I hvae been assisting doctors these few days. There are some really not very nice and attitude doctors while they are some really funny and nice ones. Attitude wise, i mean like they throw temper at u when u are new? (ok i didn't get that, it was my colleague) and probably some split personality ones when they kinda like say u during consultation and talk to u dam nice after work. Those nice ones are like those who talk to u about medical stuff, ask how are u etc, got your name.. But seriously, i kinda learnt alot these days. Be it relation wise and medical information. Guess it's good for me too. One of the doctor said that people like me (undergrads not in medical course) are still able to become a doctor one day. Pushed me for some thoughts. But eventually the thought was smashed by one sentence from my bro. "What?! another 4 years ah? I buay tahan le" Haha, it's just some thoughts anyway.

Back from HONG KONG!!! 5d4n trip and it was fun mostly because of the company we had over there. Headcount were Me, Justin, zhong ren, garrick, foo seng, evelyn and shaun. we kinda like wasted our 1st 2 days over there in hk because we thought we had all the time we have over there and didn't stick to any plans at first.
Day 1
reached hk at 5pm and spend half hour thinking should we take bus, train or cab to hotel. Decided on cab and it was a real mistake. Me, jus, eve and shaun got scammed! our cab driver took us to tsing ma bridge and have some photo-taking session. left our baggage with the cabby and off we went to take photos. actually we already know it is very dangerous. anyway we still went for it and we also prepared ourselves for the worse, that is the cabby went off with our baggage. when we return to the place, the cab driver was not there anymore!!! we were like, haiz, expected, hk people just sucks.. lol after waiting and panicking for about 3 min, the cabby returned, and off we were to the hotel at Yaumatei - ymca international house. when we reached there, to our horror the fare was 560hkd dollar. so i gave him 1000 and i only got back 340. they just scammed us like no reason dam! conversion of these rates is about 117 sgd dollar. anyway we got cleverer after this incident.
had our dinner nearby and then headed to temple street night market. only bought a pair of shades there, still overpriced haha. later we went back hotel to kinda celebrate garrick birthday, made him drunk etc. and this is the day/night that we got the classic picture of the trip. pictures will be up soon.
day 2 slept till like 12. done making up by 1pm and head to have our brunch. then we went causeway bay and hoping to look for cheap stuff but spent like few hours there to eventually know that our trip is wasted. then had our dinner nearby ladies market at mongkok and head to ladies market for some shopping spree. Day ended after we had our foot and body massage at the shop below our hotel. lady and people there are nice.
day 3 made ourselves woke up early and straight away have our breakfast at mongkok dim sum restaurant. we ordered quite a number but at the end of the day only paid 45hkd per person. cheeap cheap cheap! then we went to lantau island and take cable car to see the breathtaking scenery + big buddha. The scenery is really superb man! Really really super duper wow! Oh ya the cable car is scary because it's dam hi. Haha. Was suppose to go disneyland on the same day but apparently we spent too much time up there on the hills that we feel that we should change our plans. So we left lantau island around 6+ and went back to hotel nearby and had dinner. and it was shopping again before we head off to lan kwai fong to see hk's nightlife. lan kwai fong is a ang moh place. all foreigners but they are hot. the chinese/hong kongers there are nice but very few. for me, i didn't really know about clubbing so i heard from the rest like the people there are a bore. they look very dead and dance very dead. Sg is better. but what i know is, garrick and the rest became siao there. they just dance like nobody's business, even justin too.. haha. fun nite, spend most of my time drinking and going toilet. when i went back hotel i was like kk. breathing hardly and almost wanted to puke but just cannot puke out. but not drunk though. heeeeee...
day 4 as expected, since everyone was hi, all woke up late and left hotel about 12pm. went straight to disneyland and it was a fairyland. all the characters that we know from young were standing right infront of us. of cos and sad to say, we spend most of our time taking pictures rather than doing the rides. the rides were for kids. haha. Then we went to central to take a ferry across to cheng chau island to have our dinner. the sea wind is wooooooooooh ~ cold and the island is beautiful in a sense la. although nothing much to see but we feel that it will be beautiful if we were there in the day. the seafood is dam cheap. cost abt 120hkd per person. and their food is really seafood! their prawns are free la. 1 plate got about 30 prawns? and is not small ones lo.. good sia.. not like singapore, budget.
day 5 woke up dam late, did last min shopping at ladies market again n we were on our way back to singapore!
overall, nice experience and we learn quite a number of things too. for eg. dun trust cab driver. lol
pics will b up soon

I'm back again. Just finished my 1 week intensive Entrepreneurship course. It is basically not INTENSIVE. lol.. My group was very relaxed. And all of us were thinking how come the previous batches mentioned it was so intensive that they stayed till like 9pm for most of the days.
I met some new frens because all of us were separated into diff groups. Kinda good to know them also since my circle of new frens in NTU is like so super duper small.. Anyway, the whole thing was kinda boring. But it did brought me some thoughts like being entrepreneur --> no doubt haha. Anyway, during some or most of the time, i was feeling real sleepy. No matter i slept enough or not, i will still feel sleepy. There was once i was so sleepy that i went out and stayed like 15min in the toilet sleeping. Until a call/sms came that woke me up then i slowly walked back to class. Actually i kinda did those things when i were working @ Gold Coast Tourism that time. The other side of me la.
I can't believe i'm actually flying to HK in 5 days time. Can't wait. First holiday with my frens and Jus. Wooohoooo.. And i mean real HOLIDAY. Prob next one i'm aiming for Taiwan, then Australia, the those ang moh countries then Japan when I have loads of money. haha
I have like super lots of overdue pics. Pardon me
Anyway, celebrated Ra's and YH's birthdays this week. Fun meeting them up. Although it was short but the time spent were qualitative.
Have anyone heard of earning 5k from plucking apples? One of my fren is going to do it. I feel so unsafe for him. It's too good to be true but he still insist on going to New Zealand to pluck apples. OMG!
